There is a basis for this premise. Large corporations with a formal Board of Directors lack an appeal of this concept to majority of workers. In Small and Medium enterprises (SME) that do not have a formal Board of Directors lack an understanding of this concept. It gains more significance when we take cognizance of the fact that these SME contribute almost 60 to 70% of the employment and more than 50% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the world economy.
